Spring Cleanse (60 minutes) All Levels – Recorded on the Spring Equinox, this invigorating flow gets the heat up and blood pumping. Be inspired to rinse your system with core strengthening, twists, inversions and arm balances. Cleanse your body, clear your mind and tap into your light. The Ultimate Detox Flow (95 minutes) Levels 2-4 – This flow was specifically designed to detoxify the body. We start by generating heat to encourage sweat, then we squeeze and strengthen the core, wring out the organs with deep twists and add a couple of inversions to increase blood flow, bathe the lymph system and move out anything stagnant. This is a strong class – have fun with it, sweat, strengthen, rinse, ring and finish feeling refreshed and renewed. Drink lots of water after you are done to keep the flush going... --taught by Meg McCraken
Give it a Squeeze – Twists for Renewal (65 minutes) All Levels – This is a great class - all about twists. The benefits of twists cannot be over stated they:stimulate circulation, detoxify the organs, maintain and restore spinal health; improve digestion; stretch and strengthen the chest, shoulders, hips and back; and tone all internal organs. If this list of benefits hasn't convinced you of the importance of twists, take this class and just notice how rejuvenated and clear you feel afterwards. Yoga Basics Series (level 1) New to yoga? Yoga Basics will introduce you to a practice that can bring strength, balance and flexibility to your life. Through basic postures and alignment principles you will be able to discover the benefits of yoga at your own pace. Use Your Legs (67 Minutes) – Using your legs properly in yoga is an important foundation to your practice. Learn how to build your poses from the ground up to get balanced and strong and stay injury free. --taught by Meg McCraken
60- Minute Flow Series (all levels) The invigorating flow of breath and movement in these classes will leave you feeling balanced, focused and strong. Often focusing on one concept, these classes will help you deepen your yoga practice or build a strong foundation. The sequencing of these classes is optimized for you to get the maximum benefit out of your 1-hour practice. Be prepared to move. Use Your Legs (64 Minutes) – As the foundation for your standing poses, your roots to the earth and the base of the core, your leg work in yoga is paramount. Learn how to use your legs properly to free your pelvis and spine and let your poses grow organically. The power of your legs will transform your practice! --taught by Meg McCraken
Focused Action (63 Minutes) – Learn to move with integrity, strength and grace. First build a strong foundation by holding the poses and perfecting the alignment. Once the pose is internalized, we will flow the poses together into a beautiful vinyasa flow. This class is lots of fun! --taught by Meg McCraken
Big Fat Flow (64 Minutes) – Just need to get moving? Then this vinyasa class is for you. Give yourself a full body rinse with this invigorating flow. Leave feeling rejuvenated, balanced and strong. One hour of movement and breath. --taught by Meg McCraken
Shoulders & Open Chest (60 Minutes) – This is a great class to help you work with your shoulders correctly so that you can open your chest without compromising your lower back. This sequencing of this practice gives your shoulders a full rinse, lifts your heart, helps improve your posture and makes you feel light and open. A great shorter practice!
Core Yoga Series (level 2-3) These flowing classes will move you through a series of poses designed to strengthen and bring awareness to your core. We will work with the deep muscles that hug the spine, other muscle groups that often pull the core out of center, as well as the “locks” that help make your practice light, full of vitality and grace. All 4 Sides of the Core (93 Minutes) – A must if you are trying to work with your core! This class will sculpt and tone your deep core muscles, teach you how to get a healthy and strong back and lengthen your side waist muscles so that your spine stays healthy and strong. Be prepared to work in this one... --taught by Meg McCraken
Move With Intention (94 Minutes) – Through a repetitive flow that taps into the inner core muscles, breath and locks (bhandas) learn how to make your practice light and graceful. We start by holding poses and working key alignment principles then flow the poses into a vinyasa series. --taught by Meg McCraken
Staying Power – Open the Hips (95 Minutes) – When you stay and hold a poses instead of flowing quickly in and out, you really get a chance to learn the pose and your body's reaction to different positions. Not to mention you increase strength and stamina. Stay there, be still and study your poses. This class focuses in on the hips – oh the HIPS! Though not a flowing class, be prepared to sweat. --taught by Meg McCraken
Progressive Yoga Series (level 3-4) Take your yoga practice to the next level. This series dives deep into intermediate and advanced postures through a rich vinyasa flow. With particular attention to alignment, the class builds on each pose allowing you to explore and grow your practice. Staying Power – Hold Your Poses and Explore (94 Minutes) – With longer holding times this very slow flow, will allow you to refine your alignment, find your edge and study your pose. Notice what comes up for you as you hold these challenging poses, what is trying to take you out of the pose and can you stay there in a space of effort without tension. A great study of your self and your practice! --taught by Meg McCraken
Yoga for Skiers/ Snowboarders This is a specially designed series for all of you snow riders out there. Use the warm up, cool down and cross train program to help you stay in shape for skiing/ riding and injury free. Designed by Meg McCraken, Simple Yoga studio owner/ instructor and 20-year snowriding addict. She has helped many athletes and mountain lovers stay injury free, in shape and balanced for their sport of choice. Ski/Snowboard Warm-Up (14 Minutes) & Ski/Snowboard Cool-Down (16 Minutes) Round out your day of skiing or riding with a few simple yoga poses designed to warm up and cool down the muscles and joints used specifically for going big in the snow! --taught by Meg McCraken
Ski/ Snowboard Yoga Cross-Training (38 Minutes) – Go big this and every snow season with this simple cross training yoga program designed specifically to sculpt, tone, stretch and strengthen the muscles of a snowrider. This short practice will help you stay balanced, strong and injury free both on and off the snow. --taught by Meg McCraken
